The first four of these logos were done for DaVita utilizing their corporate colors and corporate fonts. The next three were for Belmont Church, Thomas Nelson, Inc., C.R.Gibson and The Musaic Foundation.
Lauderdale Live Festival Website Design
I had the pleasure of designing the layout for the new Lauderdale Live Festival—a music and arts festival taking place in Ft. Lauderdale. The festival is a way to increase tourism in the beginning of December. The festival is aimed at the 35-45 year old demographic and will take place downtown on stages in Esplanade and Huizenga parks. The music and arts festival will celebrate the creativity and education of the arts and feature top national, regional and local artists. I created the design layouts for Golden Spiral Creative and the super-talented developer, Kyle Numann, programmed the site.
Lauderdale Live Identity
These logo comps were created for a new Ft. Lauderdale music and arts festival, called “Lauderdale Live“. The festival, taking place December 5-7, 2013, is a way to increase tourism in the beginning of December. The festival is aimed at the 35-45 year old demographic and will take place downtown on stages in Esplanade and Huizenga parks. The music and arts festival will celebrate the creativity and education of the arts and feature top national, regional and local artists.
I loved my first logo comp because of the subtle guitar reference inside of the Florida scene. The second comp was a strong graphic type solution. I again worked to represent music and the feel of Florida with the third and fourth comps which were the client’s favorite.
The client chose the last comp with a revised more saturated color palette.

One Tree Logo
I have just finished the branding for a new home tutorial/home school called One Tree Tutorial and Enrichment. The client requested “child in a tree” and “something homemade/earthy, and iconic at the same time”. They showed me an illustration of child in a tree and an illustration of a child leaning against a tree. I took their idea of a child and a tree and worked to make a gender-neutral, iconic logo that included an element of learning.
Below are my other initial comps before the final one was chosen.
